Mohamed Salah is soon to be Liverpool's past, and Rio Ngumoha looks to be a big part of their future. 

In the present though, they have combined to put the Reds in complete control against Fulham with a pair of brilliant goals. 

After controlling most of the first half without scoring, the Reds sprang into life with two goals in the space of four minutes. 

Ngumoha was first to strike, receiving the ball off Curtis Jones on the left before shimmying inside and curling a stunning strike past Bernd Leno and into the far corner.

It was the 17-year-old's first goal at Anfield and made him the youngest player to score at the famous ground in the post-1992 Premier League era. 

The youngster was involved in Salah's goal too, putting the ball into the box for Cody Gakpo, who then found the Egyptian. 

Belying his recent poor form and seemingly low confidence, the 33-year-old side-footed the ball perfectly past Leno's outstretched arm. 

It was the opposite corner of where Ngumoha scored, rather fittingly considering they are at opposite ends of their Anfield careers.
