TEAMtalk reports that Liverpool are considering offering €80m for Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo and that Manchester United have opened talks with Forest. Such a deal could hand Corinthians more than R$ 40 million.

If a deal at that level happens, Corinthians would be entitled to 10% of Nottingham Forest's profit, the difference between the fee they paid and the resale price.

Forest paid about €12m for Murillo in 2023, so a €80m sale would mean profit of €68m, giving Corinthians around six point eight million euros, roughly R$ 40.7 million.

Corinthians could also receive a payment via Fifa's solidarity mechanism as the player's formative club, but this may be lost if the sale occurs after he turns 24 in July.

The club's 2026 budget targets R$ 151 million from player sales and solidarity receipts, and no players were sold in this year's first window.

Murillo emerged from Corinthians' academy and debuted for the first team in April 2023 against Remo in the Copa do Brasil. He soon became a regular and made 27 appearances.

He joined Nottingham Forest in August 2023 in a deal covering 70% of his economic rights.
