A summer of change is coming at Anfield, and some fan favourites are on their way out.

After spending over £400 million last summer, it is no surprise that Liverpool are going to have to sell in order to fund their spending this window.

Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah are already confirmed to be leaving on a free, and Ibrahima Konate could follow suit, so the Reds will need to look for high-value sales they can make to raise some funds.

Several players are expected to leave, and it is starting to become clear exactly what Liverpool are hoping to receive for their departing stars.

Liverpool set for €25 million boost

One of the players that many expect to move on from Anfield this summer is Federico Chiesa, who has failed to cement himself as a key figure in Arne Slot’s side since his arrival in 2024.

The Italian has played a bigger role this season that in his debut campaign, but he has still struggled to make a lasting impact, and it is expected he will move on this summer.

According to a report from Italian outlet Calciomercato, Liverpool are hoping to receive a fee in the €25 million (~£22m) region for Chiesa, with both Napoli and former club Juventus interested.

A return to his native Italy has been rumoured pretty much since Chiesa was unveiled as a Liverpool player.

Chiesa’s minutes have dried up in the second half of this season and the 28-year-old has only started once in the Premier League this season.

A £22 million fee would represent a reasonable profit on the ~£12.5 million Liverpool paid just under two years ago and could go some way towards signing a much-needed fresh face in the Reds’ attack.
