Liverpool Analysis: David Lynch Critiques Ibrahima Konaté but Backs New Deal

Contract situation adds urgency

With Arne Slot under pressure and Liverpool’s season faltering, Konaté’s contract situation adds another layer of concern. His current deal is set to expire in June, raising the possibility that he could leave on a free transfer.

Despite recent inconsistencies, Lynch was unequivocal about what Liverpool should do next. “For me, it’s a no-brainer to renew him,” he said.
