⏪ Liverpool win at Inter, Atalanta stun Chelsea, Barça, Atléti, Spurs win

Gambar artikel:⏪ Liverpool win at Inter, Atalanta stun Chelsea, Barça, Atléti, Spurs win

It could all change tomorrow with Real Madrid hosting Manchester City, as well as Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle both in action, but it's a great night for Liverpool, Atalanta and Atlético.

This is the top eighth (and Spurs!) as it stands.

Video OneFootball

Huge win for Arne Slot and Liverpool. It might have been a controversial penalty but the Reds will take it.

They now sit in eighth place in the table and have a real chance of automatic qualification.

What a week!

FULL TIME!

Inter 0-1 Liverpool

FULL TIME!

Barcelona 2-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

FULL TIME!

Monaco 1-0 Galatasaray

FULL TIME!

Atalanta 2-1 Chelsea

PSV 2-3 Atlético de Madrid

FULL TIME!

Spurs 3-0 Slavia Prague

Union Saint-Gilloise 2-3 Marseille

GOAL! LIVERPOOL LEAD LATE ON!

Dominik Szoboszlai smashes home a brilliant penalty and the Reds lead with three minutes to go.

Can they hold on for a vital win?

PENALTY TO LIVERPOOL!

Incredible. Inter cannot believe it.

VAR denied Liverpool a goal but have given them a spot kick after Florian Wirtz theatrically falls down.

PENALTY CHECK AT SAN SIRO!

Liverpool could be about to receive an incredibly soft penalty for one of the lightest shirt pulls you'll ever see.

As stands, Atalanta are into third in the table - they are currently 12th in Serie A!

Damaging night for Enzo Maresca on his return to Italy unless...

GOAL! ATALANTA LEAD!

Charles De Ketelaere drives through and smashes the ball through/under Robert Sánchez.

What a comeback in Bergamo!

GOAL! PSV HAVE HOPE!

Ricardo Pepi makes it 3-2 and there's still time for PSV to rescue a result here.

GOAL! SIMONS MAKES IT 3-0!

After failing to score all the way until the start of December, Xavi Simons now has two in two for Spurs.

He makes it 3-0 from the spot. Game over.

GOAL RULED OUT FOR MAC ALLISTER!

Offside. Harry and Marv might be on the VAR but we're not sure.

GOAL! UNION MAKE IT 3-3!

Union are level in a crazy game and brilliantly it's Kevin Mac Allister who's scored just 15 days before Christmas.

GOAL! UNION BACK IN IT!

And Khalaili has got his second to give the Belgians new life with over 15 minutes to go.

GOAL! MONACO SCORE!

Our question is answered by Folarin Balogun. That's huge in the Ligue 1 side's quest for qualification and a potential big blow for Gala.

Still awaiting a goal in the Principality. Can Monaco or Galatasaray get one?

GOALS! TWO IN THREE MINUTES FOR BARCELONA!

And it's Jules Koundé who's remarkably got both of them, channeling his inner Lillian Thuram from 1998.

A striker's header for the first and again for the second!

GOAL! MARSEILLE MAKE IT 3-1!

Greenwood gets another and Marseille are on course for a vital win in their bid for qualification.

GOAL! ATALANTA LEVEL!

And it's former West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca who's got it, heading it at the back post.

GOAL! 3-1 TO ATLÉTICO!

Alexander Sørloth has his first Champions League goal in five long years and Simeone is in dreamland.

What a turnaround.

GOAL! ATLÉTICO TURN IT AROUND!

Dávid Hancko fires in the rebound from close range after Matěj Kovář doesn't cover himself in glory with the save.

Big goal.

GOAL! KUDUS MAKES IT 2-0!

Perfect start to the second half for Spurs with Mohamed Kudus coolly slotting home from the spot.

That should be game over but you never know with this club!

BACK UNDERWAY!

Second halves slowly kicking off.

HALF TIME!

We're at the break in our six games.

All to play for.

Lautaro Martínez almost gives Inter the lead on the stroke of half-time, forcing Alisson into a fine save.

His movement was brilliant to get away from Virgil van Dijk.

GOAL! MARSEILLE LEAD!

Marseille go into the break ahead after Mason Greenwood completes the turnaround with a fine finish from inside the box.

The Argentinian's Champions League record is incredible.

GOAL! ATLÉTICO LEVEL!

Julián Alvarez scores the easiest goal of his career, tapping into an empty net after PSV lose the ball playing from the back.

Criminal defending.

GOAL RULED OUT!

After a ridiculously long wait, the goal is ruled out for a handball on Hugo Ekitike.

It feels very harsh and is just in line with how Liverpool's season is going.

Long wait for this one.

GOAL! LIVERPOOL SCORE!

Ibrahima Konaté heads in at a corner but there's a VAR check for handball.

Big moment.

GOAL! CHELSEA 1-0 UP!

Lovely goal from the Blues in Bergamo with Reece James popping up on the left and sliding the ball across the box.

João Pedro gets to it with a neat finish at the near post.

GOAL! SPURS LEAD!

And it's a very unfortunate own goal from Slavia defender David Zima.

Pedro Porro whips in the corner and the defender reacts quickest to the flick on to head into his own net.

Bullet header in truth.

GOAL! FRANKFURT STUN THE NOU CAMP!

The first Champions League goal in the newly refurbished stadium goes to Ansgar Knauff!

It's a typically chaotic high line from Barcelona, and the winger goes through and finishes in very confident fashion.

Surely the first of many goals in that game?

Curtis Jones has Liverpool's first effort on goal, forcing Yann Sommer into a smart stop.

GOAL! MARSEILLE LEVEL!

Igor Paixão levels things up but it's a howler from Union keeper Kjell Scherpen, who drops the ball into the Brazilian's path.

GOAL! PSV AHEAD!

PSV break and Guus Til has the simple task of tapping into an empty net.

Big goal with the Dutch giants currently in the top eight as it stands.

GOAL! UNION SAINT-GILLOISE LEAD!

Big goal in Brussels as Anan Khalaili gives Union the lead with a fine finish, cutting in from the right to fire home with his left foot.

Richarlison almost scores inside a minute but the Slavia Prague keeper Jindřich Staněk makes an incredible reflex save he definitely didn't fully know about.

KICK OFF!

And we are underway around Europe on a big night of action.

Plenty of other big games with Champions League football back at the Nou Camp for the first time in three years.

Five minutes away from kick off in our six remaining games.

It's a huge game at the San Siro with Liverpool in desperate need of some positivity.

Will a new hero step up?

FULL TIME!

Bayern Munich 3-1 Sporting

Three goals in 12 minutes for Bayern after Sporting threatened a major upset moves them into second and on course for automatic qualification for the last 16.

GOAL! GAME OVER!

Jonathan Tah ties things up for Bayern, firing home after Gnabry headed a free-kick across the box into his path.

Some response from Kompany's side.

Bayern completely on top now and it would be a surprise if they didn't score again with over 15 minutes to go plus added time.

GOAL! KARL MAKES IT 2-1!

The boy wonder does it and now Bayern lead.

One touch with the left and smashed in with the right.

What a player he is.

GOAL! BAYERN ARE LEVEL!

At long last, they break through Sporting's resistance and it's Serge Gnabry.

Far too easy for the winger who is left unmarked at the back post to tap home a corner that goes all the way over the top of the defence.

Fifth of the season for Gnabry and his 99th for Bayern. Could he now get his century?

Bayern have had 16 efforts but Sporting are holding them at bay.

Currently, the Portuguese champions are second in the table with Bayern slipping to fifth.

Huge half hour or so to go.

GOAL! Bayern 0-1 Sporting

A defensive horror show for Bayern as Kimmich turns the ball into his own net when attempting to cut out a low cross

SECOND HALF

We're back to it in Bavaria

HALF TIME

It's still goalless at the break and Bayern must wonder how after knocking on the door repeatedly with Karl the driving force for the Bundesliga champions.

CHANCE!

Another huge opportunity for Bayern as Karl dances through several defenders and forces a good save from Rui Silva

CHANCE!

Kane comes closest to putting the Bundesliga giants ahead as he crashes an effort against the post from just outside the box after Sporting fail to clear their lines fully.

CHANCE!

Bayern are caught napping as their visitors are able to counter through Geny, who fires a low cross into the box which is intercepted by Jonathan Tah and requires a really good reflex stop teammate from Manuel Neuer to keep it out

CHANCE!

Bayern are back in the ascendancy as Gnabry produces a really clever effort from the left flank which is met with an equally strong save from Rui Silva, who parries it.

CHANCE!

Sporting finally create something from a free kick taken by Geny Catamo which Matheus Reis meets but sends it over the bar.

CHANCE!

It's all Bayern still as Gnabry attempts to tee up Michael Olise but the ball is too quick for him to meet

CHANCE!

Karl is again involved in another great move as Joshua Kimmich's cross to the byline is nodded back across the face of goal by Gnabry. Harry Kane can't connect with it but the teenager is on hand for the follow-up, which isn't great and goes over the bar.

NO GOAL!

Lennart Karl appeared to have put Vincent Kompany's side ahead with a sublime strike from outside the area but it's immediately flagged for offside against Serge Gnabry in the build-up
