Liverpool have a lot of change coming their way over the next few months.

The Anfield outfit are in desperate need of reinforcements after failing to retain their Premier League title this season.

Indeed, they now have Andoni Iraola at the helm to try and guide them to a better-placed finish but, unless he gets some new faces through the door, it's unlikely that anything will change.

But, since the Reds' squad is already fairly full, some sacrifices will have to be made with one of the Anfield outfit's highest-rated prospects now being linked with a move away.

Bolton Wanderers want to jump-start Kieran Morrison's career

Although Arne Slot was seemingly against using youngsters during his time at Anfield, Kieran Morrison was one of the few players who made his way onto the pitch from time to time.

The 19-year-old is an attacking midfielder by trade but he has also been known to play anywhere across the front three during his career.

This versatility coupled with the way he handles himself on the pitch are just some of the reasons why Liverpool believe he has a massive future ahead of him.

But, with Harvey Elliott returning from loan, Florian Wirtz being brought in last summer and Dominik Szoboszlai one of their best attacking assets, there's not really a clear path for him into the first team just yet.

This is why a fresh report about Morrison's future from Sports Boom makes complete sense.

"Championship new boys Bolton are looking to help launch the senior career of Liverpool’s new Northern Ireland international, Kieran Morrison, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal," they wrote.

"Wanderers’ second-tier rivals, Wolves and Burnley, are also understood to be courting Morrison’s services, while German Bundesliga outfit, Schalke, has been scouting his progress.

"Middlesbrough, too, will show interest this summer after successfully helping Bournemouth’s ex Liverpool prospect, Ben Gannon-Dokes, break through in 2024-2025 under Michael Carrick.

"But the Trotters, managed by Liverpudlian, albeit ex-Everton midfielder, Steven Schumacher, have two advantages over their rivals."

Kieran Morrison could go out on loan and then return as a regular first-team player

In the limited amount of gametime that Morrison has had with Liverpool's senior squad, he's never really looked out of place.

But, since the Northern Ireland international hasn't had a full season of professional football under his belt, making a loan move to Bolton makes a lot of sense.

They've just been promoted from League One and would no doubt make him a regular starter in their bid for Championship survival.

Much like Bradley, Elliott did something similar as he went out on loan to Blackburn Rovers and returned to become a regular first-teamer for Jurgen Klopp.

If Morrison has a good enough season in the Championship, he could be given a chance by Iraola and potentially make his way into Liverpool's plans which, at the end of the day, will probably be his end goal.

Here's hoping that the attacking midfielder takes any opportunity he gets and smashes it.
