Serie A giants Juventus have been pursuing a move for Liverpool’s Alisson and their possible failure to qualify for the Champions League will not change that.
Get Italian Football News have looked at how a three-year deal has been put forward to the Brazilian, who will play at the World Cup for the Selecao.
Juve find themselves at sixth in Serie A but La Gazzetta dello Sport feel this won’t impact a move for Alisson.
The Liverpool man feels that his time at Anfield is up and he has his sights set on a return to Serie A. Alisson’s entourage has told Juve that he will still be keen on a move, even if they miss out on the Champions League. He will bid farewell to the Reds against Brentford at the weekend, with his agents ready to take the lead in the deal.
They are likely to attempt to bring Liverpool and Juve closer over an agreement over the fee. The next few weeks will be quite heated in this department and talks can intensify too.
Juve will miss out on a lot of money, if they fail to make it to the Champions League. Simply writing that signing Alisson is still a possibility is quite easy. In practicality, they may have to pay a major package to sign him, knowing that his entourage will also demand commissions to iron out an agreement with Liverpool.
Moreover, Juve have other areas on the pitch left to fix too. They simply can’t afford to blow a major amount of budget in the keepers’ department.
