A former teammate of new Real Madrid signing Trent Alexander-Arnold has on Friday sent a message of support the way of the Englishman.

This, of course, comes a day on from Alexander-Arnold being unveiled as the latest addition to Xabi Alonso’s Blancos squad.

After a saga spanning the best part of the last year, the defender was at last presented in front of the media in Spain’s capital on Thursday morning.

Messages of congratulations, in turn, have since come pouring in for Alexander-Arnold, who was quick to make clear yesterday that his arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu marks the fulfillment of a personal dream.

Fans and current members of Real Madrid’s squad were amongst those first to send messages of well wishes the way of the 26-year-old, ahead of an exciting new journey in La Liga.

And as alluded to above, adding his name to this list of well wishers on Friday was a now-ex-teammate of TAA.
