Liverpool have been linked with a move for Stefanos Tzimas in recent weeks.
According to BILD via SportWitness, Liverpool and Brighton are keen on signing the 19-year-old striker who is currently on loan at Nuremberg. He has done quite well for the German club in the second division of the Bundesliga, and he has nine goals to his name in all competitions.
The German outfit are hoping to sign him permanently for a fee of €18 million, and it will be interesting to see if Liverpool can convince them to sell the player immediately. The German outfit could set a price tag of around €25 million for the player.
It is no secret that Liverpool need a quality striker and the 19-year-old would be a quality long-term investment for them. Darwin Nunez has been inconsistent for Liverpool since his arrival, and they need a prolific goalscorer. The on-loan PAOK striker has the potential to develop into a top-class player with the right guidance and he could solve Liverpool’s goal-scoring problems in the coming seasons.

The opportunity to join a Premier League club could be quite exciting for the youngster, and it remains to be seen where he ends up. BILD have rated Liverpool’s chances of signing the player at 25% and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
Apparently, Liverpool are keen on the player, but they are not desperate to get the deal done. It will be interesting to see if they step up their efforts to sign the player at the end of the season.
Liverpool need to add more cutting edge in the final third, especially if Mohamed Salah leaves the club in the summer. Tzimas would be a quality investment for them, and he could even prove to be a bargain at €25 million.
