Loïc Nego is to leave Le Havre for Omonia Nicosia.

According to L'Équipe, the full-back will depart despite an automatic one-year extension that was triggered by the number of matches he played.

The 35-year-old Hungary international joined in 2023, the year the club returned to Ligue 1.

He will have spent three seasons with the Normandy side.

Omonia, champions of Cyprus last season, will enter the Champions League second qualifying round, scheduled for 22 and 29 July.
