London City Lionesses are close to completing the signings of two big name players according to reports.
The WSL side are tipped for a summer of big-name arrivals and journalist Emma Sanders of BBC Sport is reporting that two deals are almost complete.
The first is first goalkeeper Mary Earps who has spent the last two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain after leaving Manchester United in the summer of 2024. The former England international penned a two-year deal when she arrived in France and will join London City on a free transfer.
Similarly, Mapi León will be a free signing for Eder Maestre's side after leaving Barcelona. The defender was a part of the all-conquering Catalan side and featured in the 4-0 Champions League final over OL Lyonnes before making her final appearance against Real Sociedad.
León might not be the only arrival from Barcelona this summer with Alexia Putellas also linked with a move to London City.
