Longelo brace sinks Rangers with late clincher at Ibrox | OneFootball

Motherwell beat Rangers 3-2 at Ibrox, Emmanuel Longelo striking late as the hosts slipped from second to third in the Premiership's Championship group.

In the 16th minute Lukas Fadinger swept in from the left after Stephen O'Donnell's pass, before Longelo doubled the lead with a close range finish (25.).

Jack Butland kept Rangers in touch before the interval, parrying from Fadinger after another break down the right.

After the restart, half time changes lifted Rangers. Youssef Chermiti tucked in from Mohammed Diomande's pass (51.). Moments later, Stephen Welsh went off injured, but the home side kept coming and Nicolas Raskin glanced in to equalise from Chermiti's header after a corner (70.).

Longelo decided it with a composed right footed strike following O'Donnell's burst on a counter (90.).

Rangers tallied 16 attempts as they chased the turnaround. Motherwell were clinical, scoring from three of nine attempts and hitting five on target.
