Juventus have made Fikayo Tomori their top target for the defence, hoping to reunite him with Pierre Kalulu this month. However, according to a report, it will take some convincing to change the player’s stance.

Since the arrival of Sergio Conceicao, Tomori has started every game after a period of bench-sitting. The Portuguese manager believes in the centre-back a lot and has already made it clear that he’s against a sale in this transfer window.

However, as reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Juventus are pushing for Tomori’s arrival. An offer of €25-30m including bonuses will be needed to convince Milan, but the toughest part could be to convince the player.

Tomori is keen on staying at Milan, per the report, and even the prospect of reuniting with Kalulu hasn’t changed things for now. Juventus will continue to push for his arrival in the coming hours and it remains to be seen if Thiago Motta can deliver some magic words.

Kalulu was asked about Tomori’s potential move last night and stated that ‘it went well for now’, though refusing to make any sort of decision for his former teammate. We will simply have to wait and see if the deal can materialise, with updates expected soon.
