Lorenzo Rajot leaves Caen to join Pau FC and return to Ligue 2 | OneFootball

Lorenzo Rajot has left Caen and will join Pau FC, taking the 27-year-old back to Ligue 2.

Stade Malherbe Caen said in a statement on Friday that both parties had mutually terminated his contract.

Rajot joined Caen in 2024 from Rodez, having come through at Clermont. He made 63 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 3 assists.

Caen were relegated to Ligue 3 at the end of last season.

He was used at centre-back during pre-season amid a shortage in the position, but did not establish himself in the role.

With one year left on his deal, the left-footer had been encouraged by the staff to find a new club.
