Los Chuecos lift Más de 50 A crown as Ferro Eclipse seal promotion | OneFootball

Los Chuecos edged San Ramón on penalties to claim the Apertura title in the Más de 50 A, the final finishing 0-0 in regular time. Ferro Eclipse sealed the second promotion from Más de 50 B to A by beating Rayo Valletano on spot kicks after a 1-1 draw.

According to SuperDepor.com, Los Amigos had already lifted the Más de 50 B crown and Deportivo Gorta the Senior B title, both sides also securing promotion to their respective A divisions.

The league’s expansion continues after recent splits across Senior and Master levels. A new Más 56 category has been approved and could debut on 15 August, when the Clausura for all divisions begins.

On Saturday 18, Senior A produced both expected results and shocks in the quarter-finals. Estudiantes FC upset Tiro Federal, San Ramón beat Vet. Mechongué, Deportivo San Carlos defeated Planta de Gas and U.T.A. overcame Rayo Valletano, with none of the ties decided by penalties.

In Master A, Vet. Gaiman FC overwhelmed Rayo Valletano 6-0 and Los Andes beat San Ramón 5-1, while Luz y Fuerza and Planta de Gas also advanced. In Master B, JM de Rosas, Deportivo Gorta, Tiro Federal and Estudiantes secured the semi-final berths. Semi-finals across the remaining categories are scheduled for next Saturday.
