According to L'Équipe, OGC Nice’s window is accelerating, with Mohamed-Ali Cho close to a move worth near €20m to Hull City, Tom Louchet expected to join PAOK, and Gauthier Hein arriving from Metz in Ligue 2 on a three-year deal.
On 18 July, Cho briefly left a 4-0 friendly win over Nîmes after a heavy tackle, then returned within two minutes. With a target of €70m in transfer and wage savings this summer, Nice have treated the 22-year-old as a valuable asset.
Coach Olivier Pantaloni can take comfort as full agreement is in place for Hein, 29, a left-foot creator who captained Metz for stretches last season. The fee is quoted between around €2m, excluding bonuses, and more than €3m plus add-ons. He had been under contract in Lorraine until 2028, Mainz tracked him, and he played only the final third against Kaiserslautern on Saturday. A move for free agent Frank Magri, 26, remains possible.
Despite progress, around €30m still needs to be brought in to meet objectives. Beyond Cho’s likely exit, confirmed departures include Charles Vanhoutte to Feyenoord, Jérémie Boga to Juventus, Gabin Bernardeau to Lorient and Mattia Viti to Sampdoria.
Louchet, 23, was in Greece on Sunday to complete his move to PAOK. Nice could also field offers for Kojo Oppong (2029), Antoine Mendy (2028), Hicham Boudaoui (2027) and possibly Moïse Bombito (2028). Kevin Carlos (2030) and Terem Moffi (2027) have been invited to find clubs and are being kept out of friendlies.
