Loum Tchaouna has left Burnley to join Coventry City, promoted as Championship winners, on a five-year contract agreed on Saturday.
The 22-year-old right winger will play under Frank Lampard, with the fee undisclosed. The move keeps the France Under-21 international, capped 10 times with one goal, in the Premier League.
In a club statement, the winger said he would bring energy, determination and leadership to the team. He noted experience in Ligue 1 and Serie A and now in what he called the best league in the world, saying he has plenty for his age.
He departs Burnley, relegated after finishing 19th, a year after arriving from Lazio. Last season he scored three goals and provided one assist in 32 appearances.
Developed at Strasbourg and Rennes, he played 10 matches for the latter, then was loaned to Dijon, where he made 27 appearances with two goals and two assists.
He joined Salernitarna in 2023, playing 35 times with six goals and three assists, before moving to Lazio the following season.
