Lucas Michal will finish the season on loan at Metz. The promoted Lorraine side do not have a purchase option.

According to L'Équipe, the 20-year-old Martiniquais forward had two potential destinations, Brest and Metz.

Monaco and the Grenats are close to finalising a straight five-month loan.

Last summer, Nantes negotiated a loan for the under-20 international, but Monaco would accept only a permanent transfer at that time.

Since then, the Principality club has become open to that option.
