Lucas Paquetá should be presented by Flamengo on Saturday | OneFootball

Lucas Paquetá has yet to sign for Flamengo, so the club have not officially unveiled him. According to Coluna Do Fla, he is expected to speak to the media on Saturday at Ninho do Urubu.

The player undertook individual work at Ninho do Urubu on Thursday night 29 and again on Friday 30, and is not yet with the squad.

Flamengo are aiming for a five-year deal to be completed on Friday, which would allow an official presentation on Saturday 31. If finalised, that would give him a chance to face Corinthians in the Supercopa do Brasil.

For him to play, the club must send the signed contract to the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol. Once his registration is in the Boletim Informativo Diário (CBF), he would be eligible to feature.

Flamengo meet Corinthians on Sunday one at Mané Garrincha in Brasília, with kick-off at 16:00 Brasília time.
