Luighi, the young Brazilian catching the eye of Dortmund, Arsenal and Inter
At just 19 years old, Brazilian winger Luighi Hanri Sousa Santos of Palmeiras is already on the radar of several major European clubs. According to German outlet Bild, Borussia Dortmund are closely monitoring his progress, as are Arsenal, Chelsea, and Inter Milan.
The German club sees him as a potential successor to Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who moved to Chelsea this summer. A product of the Palmeiras academy, Luighi has stood out thanks to his blistering pace, technical skill, and ability to play both on the left wing and centrally.
With 2 goals and 1 assist in 22 appearances for the first team, the young talent is already showcasing tremendous potential. His contract with Palmeiras runs until 2029, featuring a release clause of more than €82 million, but Bild suggests a deal could be struck in the €20–25 million range. This is definitely a player to watch closely—Brazil’s latest gem is attracting serious attention.
