Luís Aguilar: Prestianni ‘to push’ for Benfica exit as Trabzonspor ‘to close’ on €20m | OneFootball

According to Glorioso 1904, Gianluca Prestianni’s future at Benfica remains uncertain after the Argentine winger asked for a salary review to reflect his first-team status, a request the club rejected.

The report says Trabzonspor have put forward terms that would significantly improve what he currently earns at the Luz.

It adds the Turkish club are working behind the scenes to ease a transfer and want to complete a deal worth about €20m.

Benfica’s Rui Costa-led hierarchy are not entering talks at those figures and do not intend to yield to what has been characterised as a strop by the player and his agents.

The report further describes attempts to sway the player, create a rift with the club, then move for him at a lower fee.
