Bayern Munich supporters have named Luis Diaz’s strike against 1. FC Union Berlin last November as their 2025/26 Goal of the Season.

According to BuLi News, the Colombian’s equaliser in the 2-2 draw on 8 November took 53.8 per cent of the vote.

He slid to keep the ball in on the byline, nudged it beyond Janik Haberer, then lashed in from a tight angle.

The strike had already been recognised as Sportschau’s 2025 Goal of the Year in January. Reflecting at the time, Díaz said he could barely believe he had scored and that he shot quickly so his side could score.

Michael Olise finished second and third with his goals against Real Madrid, 15.8 per cent, and VfL Wolfsburg, 6.7 per cent.
