Luka Vuskovic raced to aid Rasmus Kristensen after he fell to the turf during Hamburg v Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday. He checked the Dane’s airway, an intervention that may have saved a life.

According to L'Équipe, the incident followed a collision between two players and Vuskovic intervened immediately.

Kristensen was quickly back on his feet, then taken off a few minutes later as a precaution.

The match finished 1-1, Hugo Larsson equalising after Albert Sambi Lokonga opened the scoring.

Vuskovic, 18, on loan from Tottenham to Hamburg, was given the fair play award for Bundesliga matchday 15.
