Lukas Hradecky is set to return to AS Monaco’s first team against Stade Brestois this weekend. Manager Sébastien Pocognoli has confirmed this, as reported by Get French Football News.
Injuries have limited the Finland international to 11 appearances in all competitions since his summer move from Bayer Leverkusen. His last outing for Les Monégasques was a 3-1 defeat at Olympique Lyonnais on 3 January.
Philipp Kohn has deputised in his absence. Pocognoli praised the Swiss goalkeeper’s recent form, yet said Hradecky trained without restrictions this week, is available and will return in goal, adding that his experience will help.
The Monaco manager said Kassoum Ouattara may be available, and possibly Pape Cabral. He added that Eric Dier is not ready yet, with Krépin Diatta and Paul Pogba also not yet ready. Vanderson and Caio Henrique have been lost to injury, and for Vanderson it will be difficult to see him again in the league this season, while Caio is out for a few weeks.
Vanderson is undergoing hamstring surgery in Finland. Pocognoli said there remains hope he could compete at this summer’s World Cup.
