Lulinha Tavares leaves Corinthians, says club’s finances blocked continuation | OneFootball

Sports coach Lulinha Tavares announced on Monday that he is leaving Corinthians.

He said in a social media post that the club’s financial situation had made it impossible to continue his work, and added that he leaves a little of himself and takes much from the colleagues he worked alongside.

Tavares was hired in January 2025 at the request of the staff led by Ramón Díaz.

He was embedded in daily routines at CT Joaquim Grava and travelled with the squad for matches.

His programme focused on training the brain and mind to speed decision making and sustain performance under pressure. He used advanced neuroscience equipment within a personalised, continuous and measurable plan integrated with the club’s multidisciplinary staff.

Corinthians have not yet officially confirmed his departure.
