Lyon agree deal with Borussia Dortmund for winger Julien Duranville | OneFootball

Olympique Lyonnais have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign 20-year-old Belgian winger Julien Duranville for 5.5 million euros excluding bonuses, according to L'Équipe.

The move would provide a squad replacement for Afonso Moreira, who is edging closer to Bayer Leverkusen after the German club tabled a 32 million euro offer excluding bonuses over the weekend.

Duranville is an explosive, dribbling winger who can operate on either flank, and still has two years left on his Dortmund contract. Short of opportunities in the Ruhr, he spent the second half of last season on loan at FC Basel, making 16 appearances with two goals and one assist.

He should sign a deal running to 2031 at Lyon. This recruitment, like that of Mads Bidstrup, remains subject to the club’s DNCG hearing next week.

The clubs reached agreement on Monday.
