Lyon are concerned for Rémi Himbert after the teenager suffered an ankle injury moments after coming on in the 1-1 Europa League draw at Celta Vigo in Spain. He was unable to continue and had to be helped off.

Introduced in the 67th minute, the 18-year-old forward was replaced by Adam Karabec in the 70th. The incident happened when Pablo Duran landed on his right ankle.

After the match, Paulo Fonseca voiced concern, saying he had just spoken with the doctor and Himbert. He added that they do not think it is good and that they will wait for tests in Lyon.

According to Get French Football News, the Olympique Lyonnais academy product signed his first professional contract on Tuesday, keeping him at the club until summer 2028.

His minutes had increased in recent weeks amid limited depth up front and his strong cameos. Before Thursday's tie, he had 10 first-team appearances this season and three goals, one each in Ligue 1, the Europa League and the Coupe de France.
