According to a report from Canal+, Lyon are extremely close to signing Endrick (19) on loan from Real Madrid during the winter transfer window. An agreement between the two clubs has never been closer, and once the final details are agreed, the deal could be finalised.
The Brazilian international has already agreed to join the Ligue 1 club. Endrick views OL as the ideal destination for his development and as an opportunity to show his former boss Carlo Ancelotti that he deserves to play for his country at the FIFA World Cup in 2026. The striker has found opportunities limited in the Spanish capital this season, only making one appearance under the management of Xabi Alonso.
A financial agreement between Lyon and Madrid has already been reached. Les Gones will pay 50% of the forward’s wages during his time at the Groupama Stadium, which is reported to be €200,000 a month. The final detail to be agreed is what would happen in the event of an injury to the 19-year-old.
