Maëlle Lakrar took part in an adapted training session on Sunday and should be able to play against Ireland in Grenoble on Tuesday at 18:00.

L'Équipe reports that the Real Madrid centre-back began the group session, then headed for treatment, did not complete the full workout, and is nursing a haematoma.

She suffered a knock to a shin during Friday’s 2-0 win in Poland.

France are aiming to win to finish top of their group and secure direct qualification for the 2027 World Cup.

The tournament will be held in Brazil next summer.
