Maghnes Akliouche delivered a standout display but Monaco bowed out of the Champions League after a 2-2 draw with Paris, following a 3-2 first-leg defeat.
According to Nice-Matin, Akliouche scored and worked tirelessly to suggest the upset was on, earning a 7. Coach Sébastien Pocognoli also received 7, his 3-5-2 unsettling Paris until Coulibaly’s red card altered the contest.
Goalkeeper Köhn was marked 4, his distribution erratic and he was passive on the cross for the equaliser, then parried Hakimi’s shot into danger for the second. He was spared by the bar from Barcola and reacted well to efforts from Neves and Doué. In defence, Kehrer took a 6 after recovering from an early burst by Barcola, with Zakaria also on 6 for authority at the back and sparking the opener. Faes was given 4 for switching off on Marquinhos’ goal, while Vanderson’s 5 reflected a bright start that faded, plus a needless booking, before Nibombe arrived at 90+4 to add height for the final free-kick.
Coulibaly, rated 5, should have scored early but his vision created the 0-1 and he was harshly sent off after limited contact with Hakimi. Bamba earned 6 for a composed display at 19, shadowing Vitinha, before Teze replaced him on 62 minutes and later forced a deserved equaliser. Camara’s 4 captured an inconsistent night.
Henrique, on 5, supplied several fine deliveries, notably for Akliouche after outwitting Zaïre-Emery, though he lost the runner on 2-1. Akliouche, 7, turned 24 and finished coolly with a side-foot before making way for Adingra on 74 minutes. Balogun, marked 5, toiled with his back to goal, a lob perked him up, then he was replaced by Biereth on 74.
