Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca sat out training once more on Monday morning.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Pablo Maffeo and Takuma Asano as the pair in question.
Mallorca, earlier today, kicked back into gear preparations for the club’s post-international break return to action.
With sights set on a return to winning ways after three successive outings without as much, the Bermellones will make the trip to Gran Canaria, for a meeting with Las Palmas.
Jagoba Arrasate and his staff, in turn, put Mallorca’s threadbare squad through their paces at the club’s training base on Monday.
Amongst a whole host of absentees, though, were the aforementioned Pablo Maffeo and Takuma Asano.
Defender Maffeo was spotted back out on the grass last week, but was a notable omission from group activities earlier today.
Attacker Asano, meanwhile, who has not taken to the pitch since all the way back in September, was also absent, albeit with hope remaining that the Japanese will be given the green light to make his comeback against Las Palmas this weekend.
