Mallorca star on the verge of Olympiacos move | OneFootball

RCD Mallorca star Pablo Maffeo is closing on an imminent departure from the club.

As much comes with the brass at Son Moix close to finalising the terms of the defender’s summer sale to Greek heavyweights Olympiacos.

Mallorca, of course, are expected to be nothing short of pillaged for talent over the months ahead.

Following the club’s shock relegation back to the 2nd tier of Spanish football, the Bermellones’ leading performers look set to be picked off one by one by suitors across Spain and beyond.

Cyle Larin’s transfer to English outfit Southampton has already been made permanent, whilst Jan Virgili looks highly likely to be on the move at any moment, too.

And as alluded to above, this weekend, another departure from Son Moix is inching towards completion.

As per a report from COPE:

‘Pablo Maffeo to Olympiacos for around €3 million, almost done. Signing for three seasons with an option for four.’
