RCD Mallorca star Sergi Darder has today made clear his frustrations with referee Munuera Montero.
This comes after the official was responsible for more than one questionable decision, en route to Mallorca being put to the sword by Barcelona on Saturday.
The most controversial came in the buildup to Barca doubling their advantage during the first-half.
After Antonio Raíllo was left grounded after being struck in the head with the ball, Munuera Montero opted against stopping play.
This allowed Ferran Torres to control the ball, before directing a briliant strike into the hosts’ net.
The decision left Mallorca’s players nothing short of furious on the pitch, sparking widespread protests at Son Moix.
And as alluded to above, with the dust having now settled on the fixture, one member of Jagoba Arrasate’s squad who has still not managed to get over the incident is Sergi Darder.
Speaking to the media, in quotes relaid by El Chiringuito TV, midfielder Darder took firm aim at the man in charge on Saturday:
“The referee didn’t see any danger to Raíllo’s health, it seems he’s a doctor now too. When a player scores a goal and doesn’t celebrate, that says it all.”
