It has been a season to forget so far for Eduardo Camavinga, who has been bogged down by intermittent fitness problems, which has affected his performances on the field.
The injury issues have meant that he has been unable to string together a consistent run of matches and this lack of continuity has led to Camavinga making big mistakes that have hurt the team.
Tipped for a greater role following the retirement of Toni Kroos last summer, the 22-year-old now French starlet has found himself behind the likes of Dani Ceballos, Luka Modric, and Brahim Diaz in the pecking order.
Given the situation, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Germany reports that Manchester City have Eduardo Camavinga on their transfer wishlist for the summer and are closely monitoring him.
The Cityzens are understood to be one among many clubs interested in signing the 22-year-old midfielder in the upcoming transfer window.

With the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva fading in influence this season, it seems like Manchester City are looking to revitalise their midfield department and see Camavinga as a potential option.
The Real Madrid midfielder’s representatives, CAA Stellar, already have strong ties with the current Premier League champions and helped them sign Omar Marmoush during the January transfer window.
It could become a factor in their favour if Manchester City do decide to go after Camavinga come summer.
For now, however, the 22-year-old has yet to decide whether he wants to continue at Real Madrid, where he has a contract until 2029, or leave the club in the summer.
