A total of 20 names from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City squad will be in action for their respective national sides over the next two weeks.

Fresh off the back of their Carabao Cup success and the club’s first piece of silverware since the Community Shield that preceded the 2024/25 season, City’s players will now have opportunity to reset from domestic action.

March brought about a mixture of fortunes for Guardiola’s side as they dropped points in the Premier League through draws to Nottingham Forest and West Ham, whilst also exiting the UEFA Champions League to Real Madrid at the last-16 stage.

There was however crucial progression in the FA Cup through a fifth round win away at Newcastle to set up a quarter-final meeting with Liverpool at home, before defeating Arsenal at Wembley thanks to a Nico O’Reilly double to win the League Cup.

Now, a long list of Manchester City names will compete across competitive action in Under-21 commitments and the FIFA Series, as well as beginning preparations for the summer’s FIFA World Cup through international friendly action.

For the first time in 2026, here is a comprehensive round-up of the Manchester City players selected to feature for their respective national teams throughout the latter two weeks of March!

Why Bernardo Silva and Savinho are Staying in Manchester

A quartet of Marcus Bettinelli (England), Nico (Spain), Bernardo Silva (Portugal), and Savinho (Brazil) have not been selected for international action this month, whilst Ruben Dias (Portugal), Josko Gvardiol (Croatia), and Mateo Kovacic (Croatia) are excluded through a lack of fitness and injury recovery.
