Leeds United return to Premier League action at Manchester United on Monday with updates leaving 11 players out or doubtful and four back, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.
Michael Carrick’s side have not played since the Friday before the international break, a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth sealed by Junior Kroupi’s late penalty, so will reach 23 days without a game by the 8pm kick-off at Old Trafford.
United still have fitness issues and a suspension. Patrick Dorgu, out since a January hamstring injury sustained in the 3-2 win at Arsenal, is back on the grass individually at Carrington and travelled to Dublin for rehab, but involvement would be a major surprise. Harry Maguire is suspended after his red card at Bournemouth, while Matthijs de Ligt is a major doubt and could be considered out, having not featured since November with a back problem.
Leeds’ win at West Ham came at a cost. Anton Stach suffered an ankle ligament injury after Max Kilman’s follow-through, later leaving in a protective boot and on crutches. Daniel Farke said a May return is more realistic than later this month.
Joe Rodon picked up an ankle injury early in the second half at West Ham and has also been ruled out, with Farke indicating April involvement would be a bonus and any return will be step by step. Dan James has an adductor strain, is set to miss Monday, and was initially expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks.
