At Trigoria, hard work is underway to unblock Roma’s transfer window, currently stalled by the sting of Greenwood, Celik, and Summerville.
The Giallorossi are finally finalizing their first signing, with Santiago Castro expected to arrive in the capital shortly, and then they can resume their pursuit of a left-back, a top priority for Gian Piero Gasperini.
At the same time, however, work is also underway on transfers, and it’s not out of the question that Roma could sell at least one big name.
In recent weeks, thanks to a strong World Cup, there has been much talk of the possibility of the Roman club selling Manu Koné, with Manchester United interested.
Today’s edition of Il Tempo provides updates on the discussions between Manchester United and Roma regarding Manu Koné’s transfer to England.
The English club is reportedly preparing an offer to send to Trigoria for the French midfielder, although they are carefully evaluating their options and whether Koné is the best option. The player reportedly prefers PSG, but the club hasn’t reached out to the Giallorossi officials yet.
