Manchester United are reportedly one of the clubs in the mix for the potential transfer of Espanyol goalkeeper and Arsenal target Joan Garcia.
The Spanish shot-stopper is a highly-regarded talent who is attracting plenty of interest at the moment, and it remains to be seen where he could move next.
Man Utd could do with an upgrade on Andre Onana, however, and it seems they’re one of the teams pursuing a deal ahead of this summer.
That’s according to AS, who name the Gunners and the Red Devils as suitors for Garcia, along with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayer Leverkusen.
Still, it may be that Arsenal already have some advantage in the race for Garcia’s signature.

A recent report from the Athletic claimed that Arsenal used their trip to Girona in the Champions League to have some discussions over signing Garcia.
Mikel Arteta already has David Raya as his number one at the Emirates Stadium, but he’s often set very high standards for his goalkeepers.
Aaron Ramsdale appeared to be set as the club’s first-choice ‘keeper for many years to come until a slightly surprising deal for Raya came about.
Garcia might initially come in as cover for Raya, who hasn’t really put a foot wrong in his time as Arsenal’s number one.
In the long run, however, the 23-year-old is surely too good to be sitting on the bench, so it will be interesting to see how that affects his thinking over his future.
United might be able to give Garcia a more tempting offer as they’d surely be bringing him in to replace Onana as their number one straight away.
Still, it’s been a nightmare season at Old Trafford, so that could mean some top players will be unsure about joining them in their current state.
