Matteo Moretto reports Manchester United will send an improved offer of around €37m for Patrick Dorgu today, with Lecce ‘ready’ to accept the new bid.

Versatile Lecce full-back Dorgu could be joining Manchester United in the coming days.

According to Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the Red Devils are ready to send an improved offer in the region of €36-37m for the Denmark international.

Moretto says today could be ‘very important’ as Lecce are ‘ready to say yes’ to Manchester United’s imminent proposal.

Moretto reiterates that talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, while Dorgu has already reached a complete agreement with the Premier League side.

The 20-year-old has three goals and one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

He has covered multiple roles at the Stadio Via del Mare this season, playing as an attacking winger on the left and right and as a left-back in a four-man defence.

His contract with the Salentini, which he recently extended, runs out in 2029.
