Two attackers still missing for daunting trip to Selhurst Park
Ruben Amorim will be without Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko as Manchester United travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The United boss had hoped to be able to call upon Cunha, who missed Monday’s defeat to Everton with a knock picked up in training last week, but speaking to the media on Friday, he said the Brazilian would not travel with the squad to Selhurst Park.
In the absence of Sesko and Cunha, United remain short of options in attack, and they lacked presence up front against Everton, with Joshua Zirkzee drafted in for his first start of the season.
United also looked vulnerable defensively against 10-man Everton, with Leny Yoro failing to get a clean tackle on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall right before he put the visitors into a shock lead.
Yoro had come into the side in place of the injured Harry Maguire, who picked up a hamstring injury before the international break, and the Frenchman will again likely be expected to fill in for Maguire against Palace.

"Sesko is going to take a little bit more time," Amorim said during his pre-match press conference on Friday. "It will take a little bit longer, and we are taking care of him.
"Harry, the same. I expect to have Matheus in the next one [West Ham United on Thursday], not this one."
United are looking to get back to winning ways, having failed to extend their five-game unbeaten run against Everton.
They take on a Palace side who themselves saw their five-game unbeaten run come to an end in the Conference League on Thursday.
While United and Palace both set up in a 3-4-2-1 formation and are looking to bounce back from disappointing recent results, Amorim says that is where the similarities between the two teams end as his side looks for just their second win away from home this season.
“We play a different way and you can understand that by data but it is hard to explain everything. It is a different club and they are doing that better than us so that is quite simple but you don't say all 4-3-3 play in the same way,” Amorim continued.
“We play in a different moment, we defend in different space and we try to attack in a different way and they are just doing things better than us.
“I play against him [Glasner] at Frankfurt with Sporting so I know the players. I take inspiration from everyone. When I have two weeks for national teams, I watch all the managers and try to take all the inspiration that I can take. I have six years as a manager and I am always trying to learn to improve my team.”
