Manchester City advancing in move for Milan’s Tijjani Reijnders | OneFootball

Tijjani Reijnders has been a standout player in Serie A but it seems like his stint in Italy is coming to an end. Manchester City have decided that the Dutch midfielder will be their marquee signing this summer. It is expected that he will cost around €60m for the Cityzens as per TMW.Manchester City’s midfield has let them down a lot this season. In Rodri’s absence, the others haven’t been able to step up. That is why City are insistent on revatilizing their midfield this summer. Reijnders would be as good an option as they can get and in addition Pep Guardiola’s side are also looking at Florian Wirtz and Morgan Gibbs-White. Given that Milan haven’t made it to the Champions League for next season, they need to sell players and it seems like Reijnders will be the first but not the only one. The first course of action for Milan however will be to finalize the appointment of a sporting director which now seems to be former Lazio man Igli Tare.
