Manchester City and Southampton have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. Both teams are in form and will be chomping at the bit to secure their place in this season’s FA Cup final. Each side enters today’s game with a real head of steam. Pep Guardiola’s side has surged to the top of the Premier League, off the back of five consecutive wins in all competitions. City are playing their best football at the right time of the season. Southampton are unbeaten in their past 20 matches. But something must give today at Wembley.
Manchester City enters today’s match with three players unavailable due to injury. Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias, and Rodri are all ruled out of today’s match. In the case of Rodri, Pep Guardiola told the media yesterday that City is taking no risks with the fitness of the Spanish international. Rodri picked up a calf injury in Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Arsenal last Sunday.

Pep Guardiola has made eight changes from the City starting eleven that beat Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor. In comes James Trafford, John Stones, Nathan Ake, Nico, Mateo Kovacic, Tijjani Reijnders, Phil Foden and Omar Marmoush. Gianluigi Donnarumma, Abdukodir Khusanov, Marc Guehi, Bernardo Silva, Nico O’Reilly, Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland all drop to the bench for today’s match. Antoine Semenyo is rested for today’s match.
