Manchester City have marked Bernardo Silva's farewell to nine years in England ahead of today's season finale against Aston Villa. According to Glorioso 1904, the club will also bid goodbye to John Stones, with both players set to leave in the summer.
On Saturday the club opened a city-centre themed pub, The Stone & Silva, occupying The Star & Garter, which will run until the end of Sunday 24 May. The venue celebrates the pair with decor charting their major moments for City.
Before the official opening, Silva and Stones paid a nostalgic visit, taking in displays of on and off-field highlights and numerous photographs.
Silva, 31, the ex-Benfica midfielder who arrived in 2017, has become a firm favourite with supporters.
This season he has made 52 appearances for City, 27 in the Premier League, eight in the Champions League, four in the FA Cup and three in the League Cup. Across 3,795 minutes he has scored three goals and provided five assists. He is valued at €27 million.
