Manchester City join Monaco in race to sign ESTAC Troyes forward | OneFootball

AS Monaco will have to contend with stiff competition if they are to land ESTAC Troyes forward Mathys Detourbet (18), according to a report from Foot Mercato. 

Detourbet has come through the ranks at Troyes, a team that is part of the City Group. A France youth international, he has played 16 games in Ligue 2 this season, registering two assists in that time. RMC Sport first revealed the Principality club’s interest earlier this week, but they must now contend with competition from Manchester City, as per Foot Mercato. 

Manchester City have already sent a detailed career plan to the France forward, who has also visited the club’s installations. Monaco, in response, are looking to advance rapidly to secure Detourbet, whilst there is also competition from other English and German clubs. AS Roma have also been cited as a suitor. Within the City Group, he is considered the best 2007-born player already in their ranks.
