Maghnes Akliouche of AS Monaco could be on the move this summer, with PSG and Manchester City both showing strong interest. The 23-year-old midfielder has emerged as one of Ligue 1’s standout talents. However, he could now look for a new challenge.
Last month, L’Équipe reported that Manchester United joined the race to sign Akliouche, competing with rivals Manchester City for the Monaco standout.
A summer departure seems likely, with Monaco valuing Akliouche at around €70 million to €80 million. Despite the hefty price tag, Manchester City, PSG, and now United continue to show strong interest.

RMC Sport reported Monday that Akliouche, Monaco’s breakout star this season with seven goals and 12 assists, are expected to leave the club. Monaco’s management are reportedly open to selling the 23-year-old midfielder if a strong offer, around €70 million, are made. Several clubs, including PSG, are said to be interested.
This month, 90min France reported that Manchester City and PSG have intensified their pursuit, making a summer move seem more probable.
Monaco are willing to sell and have set their asking price at approximately €70 million. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Akliouche. The Frenchman brings versatility, dribbling, and left-footed skill. Furthermore, he’s seen as a potential replacement for Bernardo Silva.
City reportedly made an attempt to sign him during the winter window, but Monaco weren’t willing to part ways midseason.
PSG, while also interested, have taken a more cautious approach. The French champions have been in touch with Akliouche’s camp for weeks. Nonetheless, they have yet to make a formal offer to Monaco.
