Manchester City star to exit Premier League giants after nine years
Bernardo Silva is set to depart Manchester City at the end of the current season, as confirmed by assistant manager Pep Lijnders.
Lijnders stated that “every good story comes to an end” and that the midfielder deserves a good farewell after nine years at the club.
Silva, 31, joined City from Monaco in 2017 and has become one of their most decorated players, making 450 appearances under Pep Guardiola.
During his tenure, he has won 19 trophies, including the Champions League and six Premier League titles, and recently lifted the Carabao Cup as captain.
Lijnders acknowledged Silva's unique qualities, stating he will leave a significant void and be impossible to replace.
