Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva: Juventus remain in talks, player not in hurry | OneFootball

Serie A side Juventus are trying to prepare for next season under Luciano Spalletti already, with Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva seen as a target. While attempts remain ongoing for the Portuguese, a deal hasn’t come to fruition yet.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that the midfielder has expressed an openness to a move to Juve. But he is currently focused on winning silverware with Manchester City at the end of the season and isn’t seeking distractions.

In the meantime, Juve have continued dialogue with his agent Jorge Mendes. It is believed that Barcelona, Galatasaray and Benfica are also interested but moves to Juve and the Catalan side appeal to the Portugal international most. This is mainly because of his desire to keep playing at the highest level next season.

The Bianconeri are ready to put in a formal offer to race ahead of competition, which again shows their desperation to sign Bernardo. This is also being done so that the Manchester City player doesn’t end up being tempted by other offers, especially if they’re better than what Juve offer.
