Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku launches exclusive YouTube Series with powerful first episode | OneFootball

Belgian international and Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku has released the first episode of his highly anticipated YouTube docu-series, offering fans an unprecedented look into his life, values, and football journey.

Titled “Where It All Began,” the debut episode takes viewers back to Doku’s beginnings, from the streets of Borgerhout, where he grew up, to the legendary training grounds of R.S.C. Anderlecht, where he took his first steps as a professional.

The episode features intimate stories from the Manchester City winger and some of those closest to him throughout his early rise in the game, as well as emotional reunions, and never-before-seen footage, including touching moments with his father, brother, best friend.

The opening episode also features a surprise video message for Doku from his former coach, teammate, and Manchester City legend Vincent Kompany.

Discussing his own thought process behind the docu-series and highlighting his own personal passion for granting fans around the world an exclusive insight into his career and upbringing, Doku admitted, “I’ve always wanted to show more than just football.

“This series is about who I really am – my family, my faith, my beginnings. Everything that shaped me and still drives me to this day. I want to show fans the side of my journey they’ve never seen before.”

The launch marks a bold step in modern athlete storytelling, where players take full ownership of their narrative and connect directly with their communities.

Across six episodes, fans will follow Jeremy Doku around the world – from Ghana to Miami, Manchester, and beyond – gaining full access into his life, mindset, and mission, on and off the pitch.
