In a recent report, Express Sport mentioned that Manchester United are keeping a keen eye on Royal Antwerp goalie Senne Lammens this summer. It is believed that the Red Devils are big admirers of the Belgian keeper.

Lammens’ Impressive Form In Belgian Football

Lammens managed to put in a string of impressive displays for the Belgian outfit in the Jupiler Pro League last season. The Belgian custodian made 44 appearances for Royal Antwerp in the previous campaign, conceding 56 goals and keeping ten clean sheets across multiple competitions.

The 23-year-old proved himself to be one of the best keepers in the Jupiler Pro League last season. Hence, it is no surprise that the Red Devils are showing interest in recruiting him this off-season.

Lammens is under contract at Royal Antwerp until the summer of 2027, so Man United would have to make a convincing offer if they want to lure him to Old Trafford in this transfer window.

Is Lammens A Decent Fit For Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim?

The Belgian goalkeeper usually clears his lines when being chased down by the opposition attackers. However, he needs to improve his ball distribution if he wants to succeed in the Premier League.

Standing at 1.93m, Lammes is a commanding presence inside his penalty area. However, he might need some time to adjust to the high intensity of English football if Man United manage to get him on board this off-season.
