In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester United are keeping tabs on Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga. It has been claimed that the Red Devils are monitoring the progress of the English wide player ahead of a potential move for him later this year.
Monga has caught the eye at times for the Foxes in the final third during this campaign. The 16-year-old has scored one goal and picked up a couple of assists in 30 matches for Leicester this season across all fronts.
The English talent is currently among the most gifted young wingers in English football. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.
Monga has a scholarship contract with Leicester and won’t be able to sign a professional contract before he turns 17. Hence, Man United would have to make a convincing offer if they want to land him later this year.

Monga is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can create the odd chance for his teammates from the wide areas. He can shoot the ball well from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating the odd goal for his team. Monga is primarily a left-sided wide player but can also operate as a right-winger if told to do so.
However, the English prospect has to find a way to be more consistent in front of the opponent’s goal. Plus, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to snap him up this summer.
We can expect Monga to enhance the quality of Man United head coach Michael Carrick’s attack in the long run. He is already good enough to serve as a good, rotational piece in the Mancunian club in the coming years.
At 16, Monga has got the potential to be a generational talent in English football. He is a prospect to watch out for in the future, so Man United would be wise to step up their efforts to sign him in this upcoming transfer window.
